22nd May - Herd Visit , Show preparation demonstration, clipping demo and Hog Roast - We will visit the “Oak moor”, “Bon Lea”, and “Saville” Herds. The show preparation and clipping demonstration  with be held at  Stephen and Sarah Medley’s they have kindly offered to provide a Hog Roast Buffet, please contact me for times and to confirmation attendance by the 9th of May this is crucial for the catering.

5th, 6th & 7th August – Judging of Herd Competition  - This year the competition is kindly being judged by Mr. Ian Anderson. An entry form is enclosed for all those wishing to participate this must be returned by the 15th of July 2011.

6th August - Annual  Club BBQ’  - This year we intend to link our BBQ with visit to East Yorkshire Herds. To include ‘Water End’, “Ravensfield”, “Panthers”, “Foulness”. Chris and Sharon Page have kindly volunteered to host the BBQ at Oak Tree Farm, Carr Lane, Newport, East Yorkshire HU15 2QH . We will be lighting the BBQ at 6pm, and require a contribution of £10 towards the cost of the event. Confirmation of attendance is required to help us with the food preparations, for anyone wanting to stay over there is a campsite within walking distance, which can be booked through myself or Chris (01430) 860537. The BBQ is always a perfect opportunity for us all to get together so we hope to see you all there.

28th August - Youth Development Program Workshop - This year the workshop is been held at Bryan Ronans, Jerusalem Farm, Colby, Appleby, Cumbria, CA16 6BB. For entry forms and more information please contact myself or Bryan Ronan (01768) 352 948.

25th November - Awards Evening and AGM - After the success of last year our venue again will be the Anchor Inn, Whixley, York, YO26 8AG. The AGM will commence at 7:15pm with the meal following at approximately 8pm,Club and herd competition awards to follow. The meal is a carvery, and includes sweet and a coffee/tea at a cost of £14.00 per head. Please let me know if you will be attending by 14th November.
